As we step into the new year, we at The Daffodil Room Group want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible work we did together in 2024, while also setting our intentions for the year ahead.  Although the dream of our organization came to fruition only a few short months into 2024, the progress we made in growing our organization, building our team, and fundraising towards our mission was nothing short of a success in our eyes.  In fact, because of the your generosity and support, through both donations and participation in events, we were able to raise $7,101 in our first year alone.  We’re so grateful for the strength, resilience, and love that our community continues to share, and we can’t wait to embark on another year of supporting and empowering families facing infertility, pregnancy loss, and non-traditional, but incredible, paths to parenthood.

Our Mission: Rooted in Love and Support

At The Daffodil Room Group, we are driven by one core belief: that every family, no matter the journey, deserves love, support, and the opportunity to grow. We know that the paths to parenthood can be filled with challenges—whether it’s the emotional toll of infertility, the grief of pregnancy loss, or the unique hurdles of adoption and other non-traditional family-building methods. That’s why our mission is to offer both practical and emotional support, creating a safe space for families to heal, connect, and thrive.

Our Intentions for 2025: Building a Stronger, More Supportive Community

1. Hosting Meaningful Events
   In 2025, we’re committed to hosting events that go beyond just raising awareness. We want to create experiences that are truly meaningful for our families. These events will provide spaces for connection, healing, and shared stories, as well as offer opportunities for learning and personal growth. Whether it’s a wellness retreat, a support group, or a community celebration, we want each event to be a reminder that no one has to face their journey alone.

1. Fundraising to Support Our Mission
   As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of donors, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work. In 2025, we will focus on innovative fundraising efforts that not only raise the necessary funds to sustain our programs but also engage our community in ways that are meaningful and impactful. From donation drives to partnerships with like-minded organizations, we will work tirelessly to ensure that we have the resources needed to support families when they need it most.
2. Promoting Personal and Community Growth & Wellness
   Mental, emotional, and physical wellness are at the heart of our approach to family support. In 2025, we aim to expand our efforts in promoting personal growth and holistic wellness for all families. This includes workshops, resources, and wellness initiatives that focus on self-care, resilience, and mindfulness. We want our community to feel empowered, both individually and collectively, as they navigate the ups and downs of their unique journeys.
3. Creating a Safe Space for Families Facing Infertility, Pregnancy Loss, and Non-Traditional Family-Building Methods
   Above all, our priority for 2025 is to continue being a safe, non-judgmental space where families can come together to share their experiences without fear or shame. We understand the profound emotional challenges that come with infertility and pregnancy loss, and we are committed to providing a platform for healing and connection. Additionally, for those pursuing adoption or other non-traditional paths to parenthood, we promise to be a resource, a listening ear, and a guiding hand as they navigate their own journeys. Every family’s story is different, and we celebrate that diversity by offering support tailored to each unique need.
